A recipe for beginning self feeders...?
so this is not a question. I thought I'd share this one w/everyone, and the best answer will go to the person who tries it. lol
very simple:
4 cups of milk, 9 tablespoons (not topped, just fill it normal) of sugar and 9 tablespoons of semolina.
put everything in a pot, and stir... until it's thickened. Pour it in a dish, or several small dishes, and let it cool, then refrigerate it. It will get thicker as it cools. You can sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa on it.
Then give your beginner self feeder a spoon and let him/her indulge.
Benefits: homemade dessert which adults can also enjoy, STICKS (!) to the baby's spoon, healthy snack and keeps the baby busy as you feed him/her...
you can also adjust the sweetness of course, also the thickness - more semolina makes it thicker. BUT try this one first, then make adjustments...
