how to get melted plastic lid of the dishwasher on the heat thing?
I know I just asked? one day there on how to unclog the rinsing compartment on a dishwasher and now a cover slip, but I thought melted. I washed the plastic bowls and lids in there before and never had a problem, but now I will not do it!
I would use a plastic scraper and scrape off as much as possible of the element heating. It could stink the first time you use the heater but maybe if you use the dishwasher a few times, without cycle drying in the end it clean. We never use our drying cycle anyway, but I know that this element is used to heat water too.
