A kid is jogging back from getting something out of his car at night to his freinds house when a man in a car repeatidly says "hey you" he does not state that he is an officer of the law. Is the kid legally obligated to stop and talk to him? The kid did not have anything on him that would indicate he was breaking the law. The officer then proceded to go to the door of the house, bang on it, call in back up, then wait for someone to answer. Two of my friends answered the door and talked to the officer. The cops claim that due to probable cause (seeing 'vodka' bottles through the window on the counter through very jaded glass) they can enter the home without consent. Photographs were taken from the doorway without the glass that reveal there were no bottles on t he counter at the scene. Everyone recieved a M.I.P.. Is this sufficient evidence to fight this citation? Also there was no noise complaint. There were a total of 8 people left in the house and everyone was heading to bed.
