large round ball type fruit that is green, looks like blisters with seeds inside and can be peeled in strips. ?
In Ohio found fruit the size of large organges that is green, little bubbles all over the outside of it and it's sticky. When cut in middle it almost looks like pineapple but not as bright yellow. If you push on one of the blisters a milky fluid that is sticky comes out. Any idea what this is or where I can look it up?
Just looked up Ohio trees and found it's called an Osage Orange.
Sounds like a hedge apple from a Hedge tree also known as an Osage Orange Tree. The tree will have needle spikes much like a locust tree has. The fruit is not edible. The only use I know for the Hedge Apple is to put them in an area where you have trouble with crickets (supposedly they don't like the smell) Look up Osage Orange and see if that is what you have
