How to make the best punch bowl...(Alcohol)?
Hi everyone, having a party in 2 weeks time and decided to make a big bowl of punch, whats the best type to make and how to make it?

1 bottle red wine
175g/1 cup sugar
1 lemon
5cm/2in pieceof cinnamon stick
lemon slices,to decorate
1 Put the red wine, 300mls/half pint water and the sugar into a large stainless steel pan.
2 Peel the lemon thinly with a vegatable peeler and add the peel to the pan with the cinnamon stick. Slowly heat this mixture over a low heat,stirring to dissolve the sugar,until almost boiling.
3Remove from the heat,cover and leave for 10 minutesto infuse.Strain into a heated jug and pour the hot mulled wine into warmed glasses,each garnished with a half slice of lemon.
